The muffled sound of footfalls could be heard as the great stallion made his way across the land. A snort every now and then at foolish creatures, and a sharp whinny, threatening anything that dare bother him. Rannoch was not in a very good mood today, and thus, he would not be putting up with any crap. The great white stallion tossed his head in irritation as a particularly nasty fly bit his flank. Another snort could be heard as he lashed his whipcord, killing the annoying creature. Rannoch could not wait for autumn and winter, when the flies would have to go into hibernation, or whatever they did when it got cold. Silver orbs narrowed as he looked out across the beautiful lake, and nostrils flared as the scent of man drafted up them, this land had been so perfect before, a utopia.
But now, man had ruined it, just like they did everything else. The river's waters weren't as clear, the forest and the plains were much smaller, it seemed that this was the only place they left alone. Perhaps the god-forsaken creatures needed water just as much as they did. But he was sure, that in time, they would find a different way to get water and destroy this place aswell. He soon reached the water's edge, and waded right in, stopping only when the water was at his neck. He washed quickly, enjoy the feel of the water on his skin. He soon done and he made his way out of the lake, and shook himself, but a noise made his auditive twitch.
"Who goes there?' he called, vocals cold and angry.
